Medical Phyicist

Austin is a board-certified clinical medical physicist in radiation oncology. He completed his residency and graduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania. Originally trained as a chemical engineer, Austin transitioned to medical physics to work more closely with patients and to find deeper meaning in his work.

He is a published research author and an award-winning presenter, recognized for translating research into clinical applications that enhance the quality of patient care in both proton and photon therapy.

Austin is passionate about leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies to improve patient care on a large scale. As a science communicator teaching residents and students, he hopes to educate the population on the value of introducing these AI tools into a clinical setting.
